RE: Items for So-and-so folder deletion?

do they need to have access to any items?

i have found that there are several things that don't really need to be in
there, they can be in the "allow this application to be opened..." list...
like Sherlock... or the Microsoft Office ancillary pieces (graph, clip
gallery, etc.)

i also wrote an AppleScript that can sit on the server that is aliased in
the user's Startup Items (folder in their Home Directory) that takes that
"Items for Workgroup" folder and displays it by Name with no other columns
visible and then throws it into a pop-up window. That seems to work nicely.
