Server Shutting Down and UPS

Greetings:

I've been plagued by my server unexpectantly shutting down.
I traced it to an APC uninterrupted power supply. Unbeknownst to me, it
performs a self check on itself periodically and since the battery was
bad in it, it shut everything down and then when it went back to circuit
power, everything would come back on.
I had purchased memory and also bought disk warrior to try to correct
the problem.
