Digital Performer 3.0

Does anyone have experience with Digital Performer 3.0 (on OS 9.1
workstation) and Mac Manager 2.0.2 (on OS X server)? I've got an
unrestricted finder workgroup that can't launch Digital Performer because it
can't find the FreeMIDI setup. All works well at system access level, but
not within the Finder workgroup, even though all protection items are
deselected on the Privileges tab for the Workgroup. All attempts at forcing
prefs have failed.

A couple questions:

- What is the difference between System Access and an unrestricted Finder
workgroup with all protections deselected?
- Will pref folders placed in the Forced and Initial managed prefs folders
work in MM 2.0.2 or must all pref files sit at the root level of the Forced
and Initial pref folders?
