Disk Copy -5000 privileges error (Multiple Users 1.3.1)

Disk Copy failing for users of Mac OS 9.1.

I can not create a disk image. Reading from Disk Copy log,

16:00:16 Copying files and all file information.
16:00:17 Converting disk image "<name>.img" to read-only format.
16:00:18 The Image Folder operation did not complete. (-5000)
16:00:18 You don't have the necessary access privileges.

I've tried saving an image to my local desktop, -5000 error. I've tried saving the image to my remote Documents folder, again the -5000 error.

Disk Copy 6.3.3, driver 1.4.2f1 (PPC).
Mac OS Z1-9.1.
Multiple Users 1.3.1, Finder environment.
CarbonLib: 1.2

Apple, help!
I need Disk Copy back, working!
(Or am I doing something wrong?)

Incidentally: even under Mac OS 9.0.4, imaging was problematic for me:

-- :Users: folder would be created at root of the disk image <deep sigh>

-- (as I recall) any other user attempting to mount that disk image would get a -5000 privileges error.

TIA
Graham
