Privileges- the plot thickens!

A couple of weeks ago I asked about a problem Im having with World Book (or
any CD) not being allowed access to, in the panels or restricted finder.
Many thanks to those who replied. I checked versions in use, ASIP 6.3, MM
1.3, OS 9.0.4, I played with local volumes first etc., and a load of other
options without success.

This week (I only visit this school once a week) I noticed that at the login
screen the change password option was inactive, even tho I had set change
password as an option. When I tested the CD on some new iBooks we have just
received and hooked them up to MM they were able to load the CD. So it looks
as tho when I cloned my test iMac I have changed something that causes this
to happen at the particular work station.

My next step would be to test reinstall the MM client software. Anyone have
any other suggestions, perhaps files I might delete so that settings would
be reset ?
