Computers connected to the server. If you look at the Control Strip on the
server, you will see how many concurrent users are currently connected to
your server.

To keep this number down to realistic values, we have set the
'Disconnect from the server if no user logs in within ___ Minutes' to 5
minutes.

This is found in the 'Computer' Tab, and 'Control' sub Tab in MM Admin.

If you have multiple Computer lists set up, you will need to set this up
for all of them (of course that is up to you).

What will happen after 5 minutes of inactivity at the login screen, is a
Green 'X' will appear in the left side of the menubar. This indicates that
the machine is disconnected from the Server.

This has many advantages:
1) You can leave machines on all the time. At night, when backing up with
Retrospect, you can back up the .idx files because the machines are not
connected to the server.

2) If the Authentication server goes down, those inactive machines do NOT
receive a message that the server went down (who cares, nobody is around
to see the message anyway).

3) You don't get high concurrent user numbers on the server when in
reality you don't anyway.
