Suggestions for Kindergarten

So in following this concurrent user login thread, it appears I should not
have all my kindergarten kids log into MM by typing just the letter K? I
have been fighting with this MM system for month and getting crashes every
so often and this could be the cause.

Does any one have a suggestion as to how they work with their kindergarten
students and logging into MM? My first graders log in with their first name
and initial and some of them still can't get it right.
