[Very OT; sorry :] Putting external into internal bay..

So, yeah, this isn't really about ASIP or MM, and I know that's a bad thing,
but it *is* about my server, so that sorta counts, right? :) Besides, you
guys are the only help I have here..

Anyway, the question:

Can I take my external SCSI CD-RW drive out of its enclosure and pop it into
the inside of my G4?

Since the external drive is "old" SCSI, I currently have an Adaptec 2960 (or
something) for it to plug into. I'm pretty sure that card has an internal
port/cable as well..

Anyone tried this sort of thing?
