Browser crashing workstations in MMgr

In our lab of 33 Macs (3-dvd and 3-flavored slot loading with 9.1 and
128MB, 6-blueberry 233's with 64MB and 21 G-3 AIO's wtih 96MB with 9.04,
workstations are often crashing with IE 4.5 or 5.0. Cache.waf is set to go
to the system folder and is in the forced prefs of the server.
This happens whether or not students also have Claris/Apple Works running.
Is there a memory allocation we need to set for IE, and for which
version?
IE doesn't seem to be unstable outside the MMgr environment, so I assume
that using only one version will solve this problem. (I realize that John
D. recommends using only one.)If so, is either 4.5 or 5.0 preferred for
the above listed workstations?
