Kindergarten-2nd grade login

Against all advice, I have had my K-3 login to the class workgroup without a password. Up to now I have not had any problems. I have gotten all sorts of advice about using names of flowers, trees etc., but my question is: Should MacManager offer a junior version that fits the needs of elementary schools, rather than the schools adapting to MM way of doing things? Sounds a little like Microsoft. Our school runs on the honor system, anyone touching anyone's work but their own, loses privileges & gets a phone call home. In 5 years I have not called home once.
At this time my K-3 students use Kidworks 2, Kid pix studio deluxe, claris & amazing writing machine.THe group login allows teachers easy access to students work for group projects like slideshows. We max out the time in the lab [35 minutes] doing work - not figuring out who did not spell their name correctly. Products are supposed to make our lives easier & more productive. Teachers are looking for products with no learning curve & easy to use.

I admit that the 4-6th grade with Hyperstudio added to the mix are seeing some problems. Unfortunately, I will be moving then to individual logins. The teachers don't want it because the classes work together on group projects & newspapers - it makes uniting / linking projects too much trouble. I'm sure I will see productivity drop. The hand in folder is not the answer. My teachers like to have access to all their students work in one folder all the time.
