OK,

There has been confusion on this issue before. Let me try to clear things
up...

The folder in the Applications folder needs to be named "Other
Applications*" without the quotes and with the *(bullet) (achieved by
Option-8) AFTER the words Other Applications. This is where you place
Apps that are being problematic, i.e giving you privelege errors.

The case when you create a folder with the bullet in FRONT is this..taken
directly from the MM 1.3 Readme:

"You can allow applications that aren't in the list of approved items to
be opened by placing them in the Special Folder. Then name ot the Special
Folder must start with the bullet character ("" Option-8) on both the
workstation and in the administration application. The folder cannot be
set to the Write Only permission."

It is my understanding that the name of this folder is not important, as
long as it starts with the bullet.
