Summary: MM Panels & HP 2100TN printing

I logged in as a finder user on one of the iMacs, printed to make sure
that I could choose the print tray that I needed/wanted.

Then I copied the "Printing Prefs" folder (from the machine that works
properly) into the user's preferences folder on the document server.

This is working so far. Not sure how it'll affect the user(s) as they
move from classroom to lab, library, etc.

Hi!

Hope someone has an answer to my problem:

Machines: SL iMacs w/OS 9.04, all current updates, Panels
environment,
Users are set to print to printer chosen in the chooser (not sure of the
exact wording)
FYI...Security By-Pass extension installed...needed for our Accelerated
Reader/Star program to work.

Server: G4DP, ASIP 6.3.2 (w/ latest 9.04 update), 333RAM,
MacManager Server 1.2.2

HP2100TN ethernet connection, updated driver from HP

Used Desktop printing utility: problem occurs using both LPR printing,
or using AppleTalk


Printer trays: 1=manual feed, tray 2= 8.5 x 11, tray 3= 8.5 x

Problem: in the finder environment, when printing, user/machine is able
to choose which tray to use, (1,2,3) in the print dialog.

--->in Panels, user has only "Manual" or "Default" (not sure of the
wording), but in essence has only two choices, not the three trays
available.

Teachers/users would like to be able to choose legal size when necessary.

Any clues?
