Word 2001 Memory and Panels

I am using Word 2001 on an iMac workstation (any workstation), with system
9.1, and workgroups in both restricted finder and panels. If I stay in
restricted finder, Word works just fine.

The first time I go to panels, Word works just fine. However, after the
first time I go to a panels workgroup, the next time I sign into either the
panels environment or the restricted finder, I get a memory error message -
not enough memory. After restarting the computer, Word is fine again.

I have increased the memory allocation for the application. The problem is
related to the Panels Workgroup. I am not restricting the size of the files
in MM.

Any suggestions?
