Claris Emailer

Hello folks,
Just curious to see if anyone has had luck in getting Claris Emailer to run under MM 1.3. I have a user who is sticking with Emailer and I so far have not found a workable solution. I've tried putting the program into the "Other Applications" folder but continue to get an error involving the preferences file. Emailer really likes to keep its prefs in System Folder/Claris/Emailer Prefs. Any suggestions would be much obliged. Thanks and have a wonderful evening.
