Hello,

You could make a "Anti MM Crash/Shutdown Backup CP Folder" somewhere on your HD
and put copies of those control panels in there. That way, when they get
corrupted you can just login as Admin, on that machine. Copy from your good
backups into the System:Control Panels: folder and Restart your computer.

You might also be able to replace the battery.
