To 9.1 or not to 9.1?

Am I correct in remembering that one of the fixes in 9.1 is supposed to
keep people from saving to desktop folders within a folder with their
name within a folder called Users on the individual Macintosh HD? I seem
to recall something about it being able to save to a desktop folder that
is NOT on the startup disk. Does this also include a fix for people that
log out before their print jobs have all been sent to a printer so that
they'd have to log back in on the same Mac and have everything within
their Printmonitor Documents folder (inside the folder with their name
on it, inside the Users folder on the local workstation's Macintosh HD)
get sent? Basically I want kids to be able to hit Print, log out as the
period ends, and be able to grab their printout without having to worry
that it won't send their document to the printer because they're not
logged in. Anyone have any experience with this one?
