Re: can't find server on network



If nobody minds me talking to myself awhile, I'll respond to my own post.
Maybe it'll help someone else (if only to show it's perfectly normal to
talk to oneself...**)

Peter,
If you want to restore the offline option to computers that are only giving
you three buttons on the "Can't find the server..." screen (and you've
enabled this feature in MM admin), delete the Multiple User folder in the
Prefs folder ***on the local machine, NOT on the server***, and option
restart. It's possible that you don't have to delete the whole Multiple
Users folder, but until someone tells me I only have to delete
[file/folder] I'll delete the whole thing - it works.

BTW - before you send posts like this, you might want to check with your
technology assistant - she already knew the answer!
