Re: LOST DOCUMENTS

I saw a post a few days ago on this topic suggesting that upgrading to
System 8.1 is a solution. I currently have a number of LC475s that people
would like to have for internet (as opposed to nothing.) I really can't
imagine anything higher than 7.6.1 being tolerable in terms of speed and
memory consumption. Should I give up on trying to connect them to the
server and just let them run free-standing?

I'm kind of hoping that people will get hooked on having effortless roaming
access to documents so that there is at least a chance of them pleading for
Macs when they get new computers in an increasingly peecee school.
