Subject: Retrospect Backup problems with MM?

I've seen this too. After a nighttime Retrospect beta backup the MM server
can't be contacted using Macintosh Manger and users can't login. Rebooting
fixes the problem every time.

Previously I put it down to some setup variable that I had messed up but I
recently reinstalled from scratch (OSXS 10.1.3 on G4 800DP) and I'm seeing
the same problems.

I run automated Retrospect backups and a backup server. With the previous
(corrupted?) setup I found a strong correlation between overnight stability
and Retrospect being turned off and problems when it was on.

Anyone else?

Nick
