I believe that you can set the names that netboot gives computers in
NetInfo Manager. I don't remember where, but poke around the Apple support
site and see if anyone there can give specifics. If the machines have
already been named, the same general place you set the names allows you to
delete all the existing names and give them something more meaningful (and
if more than one netboot server, something different for each server).
