A word of warning, I used to empty trash in my setup script but I realized
that one of our seminar instructors placed files on the image (had to be
in a writable spot on the image!) and the files were locked. This really
screwed things up. You should be able to empty the trash at startup as
long as you "try" it. Don't just "empty trash" or you'll eventually have
problems.
