Hi Rob,

Well you can download a piece of software I wrote called Mactracker that
among other things lists what type of hard drive interface each Mac model
used. (Under the expansion tab in the machine info windows)

You can download it for Mac OS 8.0 - 9.2 or Mac OS X v10.1 from:
