Re: iMac firewire

We just purchased a 30GB FW drive exactly for that
purpose and have been using it for the past few
months. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it. Don't
believe a thing that vendor tells you, there's no
problems running it powered only by the Firewire port.
We boot and image our flat-panel iMacs off ours all
the time (in fact, that's what I'm doing this
afternoon.) Check out http://www.smartdisk.com/ for
