OS 9 Folders on X

Though not yet fully convinced of its powers, we have been trying X (OS
10.1.5) on a number of machines installing it over a few OS 9.2.2
machines. The primary reason for doing so is teaching the students to do
programming classes on JAVA 2.

We use Foolproof desktop protection for the OS 9.x desktops. On OS X we
have createdtwo user accounts . one for "Students", the other for the
admin/teachers. The admin account has all the master previleges and though
the "Students" account has limited acces we have noticed that it can
still delete files/folders created from the OS 9 environment, for e.g
"System Folder"," Aplications (Mac OS 9)" etc.

Any idea on how we lock these so that one would need admin password to
delete/remove these? Is there any good online turorial/material availble
on the OS X user and groups features?

Would really appreciate some suggestions.

Thanks,
reaz.
