Can't find workgroups upon log on.

We have about 15 eMacs in a lab, all imaged exactly the same. For some reason about 7 of them will not find the workgroup manager log on screen.

They just want to accept a local log on.

I trashed the MCX_Cache and that brought two of them back.
I get a good network connection. All the settings are identical, but something is corrupted somewhere, but I don't know where to look.
