Re: ARD 2.0 and 1.2

Hi,
According to a reputable source the consoles can't both be run on the same machine because the console uses the ARDAgent process to communicate with clients, and the ARDAgent gets upgraded when 2.0 is installed, and two consoles can't talk through the same agent. So, yes it sucks, and I hate it that way too because I have 1/3 of my machines on OS 8.6 and 9. I think I'm going to have to maintain multiple admin machines. I'd love to be rid of the OS 9 machines as much as Apple would, but would the Education developers PLEASE get on the OSX bandwagon?
