Dan,

Are you by chance using an Active Directory with these machines?

What keychain is looking for is AutoFill information, which would be
password protected. I9ve seen this happen with our Macs here. The way
around it was to open up Safari, go into preferences, and disable the
AutoFill capabilities. With our installs, the keychain doesn9t appear to be
linked to any password that I, or the users, can come up with, so that9s
what I9ve resorted to doing.

It works though....
