As far as I know this won't work.

There's some confusion over the term single-sign on.
It relies on kerberos, to associate a token with the authenticated
user. For any service (eg: web browser, email, mounting dirs ) to
be able to use this token, the application needs to be kerberos-ised.
Most applications are not built with kerberos support, and so they will
not be able to access the already authentictated token. Therefore they
will use their own authentication mechanism, and prompt for the username/
password.

Maybe others can refute this, but I don't know of many places that
have this functionaility in a cross platform environment.
