After the helpful posting last month, I contacted enterprise support at
Symantec to obtain the NAV version that will not expire after a year. The
support person told me to download it from their fileconnect.symantec.com
site.
I downloaded the following file:
NortonAntivirus_9.0_for_MAC_Corporate_Edition_EN.dmg
Which is 52428000 bytes, posting date 6/10/2004.
The vibe I got from the support person makes me suspect he did not fully
understand what I wanted.
Can anyone verify that this is indeed the version that will not expire the
subscription in a year?
I really want to make sure I have the right one before it gets deployed.
I have tried the trick of setting the computer's clock ahead a few years,
and it did not trigger a subscription expiration.
Thanks,
