Not sure why anyone uses ZIP disks anymore, but that's not the point. ;)

We have local admins on pc and mac for using Pro Tools and Avid apps. While in the majority of our labs users are not admins, for security and peace of mind (for us).

I'm not sure what your situation is. Does Quark require admin user privs?

Can you adjust the privileges of those specific folders so Quark and
Painter work better when used by non-admins?
