printing question

We are in a Windows-dominated, corporate environment. Macintosh users are
being asked by our management to use the NT-based print servers rather
than printing directly to our printers. The printers include a mix of HP
8000,HP 4300, HP 4600, and Xerox 7700.

I'm concerned that printing through the NT print servers will sometimes
result in garbage out because of binary/ascii issues, or incompatible
print drivers.

Has anyone had good or bad experiences in this area?
