BSD Sockets under Carbon

Hey all!

i want to create several protocol libs, which should be portable to several OS-es without
much effort, therefore i chose to use BSD Sockets as my network interface. But searching the ADC, and this
list's archive since sept. 5 i found nothing related to that...

is there someone who can provide me with information regarding BSD Sockets in my Carbon (nib) based application ?
