Re: Networking between Tiger and OS 8.1

When I upgraded to Tiger, I suddenly was no longer able to

I submitted a bug report to Apple, but they simply closed it without
comment.

What can I do to restore communications with these machines? As a
work-around, I transfer files first to a machine using OS 9.1, then
relay the files to the older machines, but this is extremely
inconvenient!

AFP is no longer supported in Tiger. You should look at ShareWay IP, which solves this problem.

Thanks! I'll try it!
