Eek. I realize this isn't quite the answer you were looking for, but the
Internet Config API is so far deprecated that you're best off not using
it at all if you can possibly avoid it.


Moreover, deleting system-wide prefs is typically a pretty unfriendly
thing to do, but if you're writing some kind of administrative tool I
guess it might be necessary.

If you can describe what it is you're trying to accomplish at a higher
level, I'm sure we can find the right solution.
