I am talking about Chapter 13 in the old "Core Mac OS X and Unix
Programming" book from Marc Dalrymple and Aaron Hillegass OR their
new chapter 11 of "Advanced Mac OS X Programming".
If I launch the simpleserver and, then, simpleclient from two
different machines of my local network, then :
- the server remains "silent" ( doesn't do any "accepted connection
from 192.168.1.10:51035" )
- the EOF character (^D) can't be sent from the client properly ( no
"EOF" on client side, but ^D in the terminal )
- the server waits for nothing to come
- at last the client shows "could not connect. error: 60 /
Operation timed out".
How could you help me - by the time I re-read and understand the code
for any eventual limitations ?
