AEBS NAT algorithm used

Hi,
Does can anybody shed any light on what particular NAT algorithm is used
by the AEBS (maybe somebody from Apple ?), as I work in a SIP group for a
large ISP, and there are problems with when using AEBS hardware and SIP
adapters.

(the ISP server doesn't use STUN servers, as the designer here didn't
design architecture that way, and doesn't seem to want to add them when I
mention it, because other routers work fine).

But recently I have found incompatibility in the ISP routers which causes
connection problems with iChatAV because the router was using symmetric NAT,
and iChat seems to me relies on CONE NAT for its UDP punching technique
(although could be wrong here).

It would be useful to understand how which NAT algorithm is used, as I'm
wondering if the problems on both AEBS hardware and ISP routers are caused
by their respective NAT implementations.

Thanks
Mark.
