After I began to have some fun running Glenn's code, I received an off- list reply suggesting some sample Cocoa code

Being new at this, I'll probably need both.

It needs a few "struct" keywords to clear compiler errors in plain old C. I found more code like Glenn's in Chapter 11 of "Advanced Mac OS X Programming".

Also I received a suggestion to look at the Java samples that come with Eclipse, but I don't know Java.
