XServer Information

I'm looking to purchase several XServers, but wanted to get a group consensus on how owners of XServers feel about the product. I plan on using them as a small cluster to perform financial computations. I'd like to hear your opinions whether they are related directly to clustering or not. Setup, hardware, costs, anything you think is relevant. I'm looking for any personal insight you might have.
