I would venture that the permissions on the root of the Hard drive have been
somehow changed. You will need to SSH, or telnet in and change the hard
drive permission to include read access to everyone. As soon as you do
this, it will go back to normal. I believe that the syntax will be


Chmod 775 <volume name>

Need to have root access to do it as well
