Help, blue screen on startup

Hello All,

I have a problem with our OSX 10.1.4 G4 server. When it boots, it starts up ok, but doesn't show the login screen.

The server components are running ok, apart from Mac Manager.

Question :

How to startup and fix this problem?
Using an OS9 CD doesn't work, which is odd.
How do I disable the MM from starting, as I suspect that is the problem, when I do get into the system by CD?
