Yes. This is all true. It is at an Education rate.

But even at Raid 1 I am more comfortable with the speed and reliability of
the drives
per the price than going with the IDE options.
I don't understand how Apple can charge so much for those drives. I priced
the similar drives at a much lower cost.
Although you still have to be able to buy the mounting frame. The SCSI
option even without the U160 card is still cheaper to build by about a 100
bucks than the Xserve.

I am just pointing out that Apple was so nice to give us a new "server" but
the cost doesn't seem to have helped
me out any.
