Re: Server cost compare



A few comments -

1. You can still purchase a G4 Quicksilver Server - at the Apple Store click
on the Quicksilver G4 on the first page - then look in the top right hand
corner.

2. According to a recent comment by John Detroye, there is much more to the
hardware configuration of the Xserve that makes it an optimal server as
opposed to a standard G4. See his previous comment.

I had drawn the same conclusion you did, but John convinced me.
