Re: How do I password protect a folder for my website?

At 12:20 PM 4/29/2002 -0500, you wrote:
I want to password protect a folder inside the documents folder of the web server. I used to have this set up under ASIP, and whenever someone would browse to that folder over the internet, they would have to enter a password.

I did this using standard .htaccess files and it works great for our setup. A search through google for HTACCESS should turn up plenty of references and how-to articles.

Hope this helps..
