Cconfigure smb.config

Hello.

I am trying to configure the file smb.conf so that windows clients can
create files with group write permission. I use the Terminal and write the
command "sudo pico /etc/smb.conf" but I get the message "sudo: pico: command
not found". Can eyone please tell me whats wrong. I have a G4 OSX server
version 10.1.3.
