Re: DNS (BIND reveres lookup)

you could check out http://www.biermann.org/philipp/
There is a small faq for osx ragarding the setup for a nat router + bind /nameserver.
includes the neccessary files (a forward and a reverse zone file).

I have a server behind a router what I setup for email. Because it is behind the router it doesn't work. I called apple and they said I had to configure BIND for reverse name lookup, but its a 3rd party and they can't help.

I've looked around but I haven't found any good answers. The webmin package looked promising but I don't understand enough on what to put in the windows. Can anyone give me a brief overview or point me to a web page that does.

Thanks in advance,
Ryan
