Re: Server does not show for Windows PC

Make sure you have a DNS entry for the server and try doing find by IP on te windows client.

Hi,

i am trying to make our Mac OS X Server usable for our PC people. I enabled
Windows File Serving in Server Admin, but the only machine which can see the
server is a Win 2000 client. And access is very slow. All Win 98 clients
cant see the server in their network neighborhood.
The MacOS X administrator pdf is very vague.
Where should I look first?
What to check first?
