Yep, both versions are included and installed. Version 1.3 is used by default
unless you disable it and enable version 2 instead. Its quite safe to have
several versions on there, so there is no need to remove one. The apache 1.3
binaries live in /usr/sbin, and the version 2 binaries live in /opt/apache2
(IIRC).

I've played with it a little, and it seems to work fine. However Apple's GUI
tools can already administer a server remotely via TCP/IP, so you might not end
up needing Timbuktu.

I'm not too sure what you mean here. There is a GUI application which Apple
provide for doing things like defining virtual hosts in apache, and password
protecting areas of your site. Also, since Mac OS X is BSD, there are plenty of
other solutions available from the linux and unix worlds too. Webmin is a nice
solution for editing server settings via a web interface and its cake to get it
running on Mac OS X.

If you mean are there any tools for users to restrict access to their own files
on a fileserver, file and folder permissions can be adjusted by users in the Get
Info window.

Hope this helps
