Well, we will start with the solution...
Install the application. Do not restart though. Prior to restart, run live
update and update all components. Once that is done you can restart and all
should be fine.

Now for the suggestions...
Uninstall Norton's piece of garbage software and see if you can get your
money back for it. It breaks with almost every update, I can not imagine
running it on a server, and it barely scans for viruses (fewer that 5000 of
the more than 60,000). I guess on the plus side they have award winning tech
support evidently that should be commended for a job well done (sarcasm).
