ATTENTION!!!! Re: Ultra160 SCSI card offered with the Xserve

Hello!

I just wanted to let you know that Apple does NOT uses the UL3S they use the UL3S-66 !!!!
This is very important, because for one of my customers I had to exchange the UL3S with a UL3S-66 after updating to 10.2.3.
After the update the Server got hung when I tried to verify the LaCie-RAID. Or the server stops responding suddenly.

After I changed the card from UL3S to UL3S-66 the problems went away.

I tried to give back the UL3S but ATTO refuses to take it back, but there is no mention on their website that the UL3S does not run in a Xserve. :-(
