Help!!!

I have a server farm on KVM switches. We changed a monitor last week and the OSXS must have been set for a resolution that the monitor won't display - wish I would have caught it sooner.
Does anyone know how to nuke the display preference so it will start up with defaults? Perhaps SSH or ?
I can boot into 9 if that helps - I have 9 on a separate disk.
